Mini-Biography
Cynthia parents divorced when she was age 7. Her father, Bruce, is an electrical engineer. Her mother, Nancy, is a legal secretary. She has an older brother, Steven, who is also an electrical engineer.
When Cynthia was a teen, she was diagnosed with immune thrombocyopenia, an autoimmune disease of the blood. For two years she required chemotherapy and a splenectomy. It appears to be in remission today.
Her husband, Curt, whom she married in 1996 is a Los Angeles restaureteur. Attended Macomb Community College, Macomb County, Michigan Boston University School of Fine Arts (Bachelor of Fine Arts) Enjoys skiing and dancing.
She won the Daytime Emmy "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Daytime Drama Series" in 1998. She was also nominated for the Soap Opera Digest Award "Outstanding Villainess" in 1998.
